VDay - just two syllables, but two syllables that symbolize a global movement to stop violence against girls and women.  A local group of women are marking VDay Friday with a special presentation of the Vagina Monologues. The proceeds from Friday night's performance will benefit Working Against Violence, Incorporated. WAVI's executive director says there's something in this show for everyone, parts of it will make you laugh, other parts will make you cry.

Mary Corbine says, "I've never been involved with the Vagina Monologues; I've never seen it. I went to one rehearsal and was really excited after going to the rehearsal and learning more about it." The show starts at 7 o'clock Friday night at the Dahl Arts Center. Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
