Latest Snowfall Reports
Snow showers will continue across the region today. The favored areas for more persistent snow will be the Northern Black Hills, NW South Dakota, and SE Montana. Several more additional inches may pile up in these areas today while other spots see lighter amounts in general. Highs will be a few degrees either side of 30 just about everywhere but a breezy NNW wind will keep the wind chill on the nippy side.
I suspect the snow will gradually taper off tonight and it should be more or less done by noon Thursday as the system churns off to the east. This will allow sunnier and warmer weather to return on Friday and Saturday.
The computer models continue to hint at a cooler and perhaps unsettled Sunday. I hope to get a clearer picture on that scenario later on today. Stay tuned!
