It's a game you can find in many Deadwood casinos and now it's become the focus of a new way to promote the city.  Anyone who has a cell phone and is at least 21 years old can play blackjack simply by texting.  The game is part of a cooperative marketing program ... between Deadwood and the South Dakota Office of Tourism.  The Deadwood Chamber of Commerce says this is a great way to draw new faces to the city by utilizing newer technology.  Lee Harstad says, "The majority of people this day and age have cell phones, and the majority of these people have text messaging. So we're utilizing this text messaging service to promote Deadwood to visitors here that are going to come to Deadwood, that have been here, and basically to anybody in the world that wants to win some cool Deadwood prizes."  Players are eligible to win Deadwood related prizes at the end of each month.  For more information on how to play visit W-W-W dot deadwood dot org.
