 I was born right here in Rapid City in 1981. My dad was in the Air Force so we moved around quite a bit. Living in different places about every three years has given me a better perspective of our country and the people in it.
I also lived in Turkey from 1989 till the begining of the first Gulf War in 1991 when my family and I were evacuated back to the States while my dad remained behind to do his part in that war. This experience not only gave me a better perspective of the international community but also helps me relate to military families during our current conflicts. In 1996 I moved back to Rapid City and graduated from Stevens High School in 2000. I look at my job as a huge responsibility to bring the news to you and provide quality video to better illustrate the event. Everyday I do my best to be worthy of that responsibility. |
